PONZ is pleased to host the 17th Psychosocial Oncology New Zealand conference scheduled for 26th February 2020 in Tāmaki-makau-rau, Auckland, followed by a two-day workshop on Meaning Centered Psychotherapy with Allison Applebaum from the 27th to 28th February 2020. Fly in and fly out same day for the one-day conference or stay on for the two-day workshop. The conference will be located in Britomart, the Heart of Auckland City, with easy transport links, great eateries and exciting nightlife. Come and explore our famous City of Sails! 

The theme of this year’s conference is Psycho-oncology in Practice. As the area of psycho-oncology grows in New Zealand we want to enhance our understanding of the needs of those diagnosed and increase the awareness and implementation of evidence-based practises. We welcome health professionals currently involved in psychosocial oncology care or keen to learn more about this developing area.

2nd September – early bird registration opens

30th November – abstract submission closes

6th January  - early bird registration closes, standard registration commences
